Jeffrey Benson is President and CEO of Case Credit Union, a $350 million financial institution serving over 45,000 members. Under Mr. Benson’s leadership, in 2020 Case Credit Union was recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Michigan office as the state’s Community Diversity Lender of the Year.
Mr. Benson is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accounts, National Association of Black Accountants, and Rotary International. He currently serves as a board member and/or officer on several boards in the Greater Lansing community which include Sparrow Health Systems and Capital Region Community Foundation. He also serves on the board for the Michigan Credit Union League and the National Children’s Center in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Benson has been a speaker at local, regional and national conferences and has taught accounting classes at Lansing Community College. He has received numerous awards and been listed in several publications of Who’s Who in America.
