David is an Underwriter in Cinnaire’s Chicago office. In this position David evaluates, structures, and closes affordable real estate investments across the multi-state footprint, helping to advance Cinnaire’s mission to address the affordable housing crisis. He joined Cinnaire as an Assistant Underwriter, but upon demonstrating his ability and readiness to lead complex deals independently, he was promoted to Underwriter.
David brings more than six years of experience working in the finance industry to Cinnaire. He most recently worked as an Associate, Asset Management, at Bank OZK, where he managed a portfolio of commercial construction loans and was responsible for negotiating, underwriting, and drafting of loan modifications. Prior to that position he served as Credit Analyst at the Commercial Credit Group and First Bank Financial Centre.
David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and his Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Development from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
