Chatana joined our team in 2021 as Community Development Program Manager. She is charged with managing processes to obtain resources to align our strategic community development goals and with managing compliance related to our CDFI resources.
She most recently worked as Grant Compliance Program Supervisor at the Detroit Public Schools. There, Chatana supervised the deployment and reporting of $17 million in annual federal and state grants for the 50,000 students attending Detroit Public Schools. Prior to that position, she was a Compliance Administrator at Magna International.
Chatana earned her B.S. in Social Science from Michigan State University.
