Alison joined our team in 2021 as Strategic Communications Coordinator, located in our Wilmington office. She develops engaging content for our internal and external communications channels to execute Cinnaire’s strategic marketing plan and increase our profile as a highly respected Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).
An enthusiastic storyteller, Alison is committed to identifying and sharing the remarkable accomplishments of people and programs at Cinnaire as we advance our goal of fostering a healthier and more equitable society. Alison comes to us with more than 20 years experience implementing communications programs that support vulnerable populations. She has served as communications manager at the University of Delaware, where she was responsible for the development of print and digital materials, press releases, social media, and web design for the College of Education and Human Development. Prior to that, she was a communications specialist at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and public outreach manager at the Wilmington Area Planning Council. She has written extensively on land use and transportation planning, social equity, homelessness, early childhood education, and health and wellness initiatives.
Alison earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and she is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
