Susan Frank joined Delaware Community Investment Corporation, a Cinnaire company, as Vice President and Managing Director of Business Development. Ms. Frank, formerly a Director in Fannie Mae’s Multifamily group, will be a critical member of the Delaware Community Investment Corporation (DCIC) team as they seek to maximize the opportunities presented by the joining of Cinnaire (Cinnaire) and DCIC.
Susan Frank brings over twenty years of experience in housing finance and community development. Her twelve years of experience at Fannie Mae directly relates to our business at CapFund, as she managed the Special Affordable Multifamily team and managed Fannie Mae’s Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) executions.
Prior to joining Fannie Mae, she was the Executive Director of Delaware’s state housing finance agency for eight years, and was a member of Governor Carper’s (now US Senator Carper) cabinet. She also spent a number of years working on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Advisor, focusing on issues before the U.S. House of Representative’s Banking Committee and Housing Subcommittee.
In October 2013 Cinnaire acquired Delaware Community Investment Corporation to expand community revitalization efforts in Delaware and beyond. DCIC made the decision to partner with Cinnaire in order to expand its capabilities by improving its infrastructure, building its set of products/services and expanding its focus beyond just Delaware.
