We have an unwavering belief that all people deserve the opportunities provided by living in healthy communities.
The Cinnaire team put that message into action by helping families in need with our annual food drive this holiday season. This year, we extended our food drive efforts throughout our footprint, donating a total of 11,314 pounds of food to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, the Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit, the Middleton Outreach Ministry in Wisconsin, the Food Bank of Delaware and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.Â
The opportunity to live in healthy communities starts with providing access to basic necessities: food, a winter coat, transportation, an affordable home. Special thanks to Luan Nguyen for coordinating the holiday food drive and to Megan Fuller, Chris Jillings, Ruqayyah Polk, Keith Broadnax and Krista Wriston for leading their regions!
About the RecipientsÂ
Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB)
For each $1 donated, GLFB can purchase 7 pounds of food, which feeds a family of four, one meal. The GLFB distributes food to seven counties in the Mid-Michigan area.
