Cinnaire has been recognized as one of the 2022 Best Nonprofits to Work For by the Nonprofit Times, the leading business publication for Nonprofit Management. This is the eighth time Cinnaire has been honored as one of the nation’s best nonprofit to work for.
The Nonprofit Times partners with Best Companies Group to conduct a survey of nonprofits, including employees, managers, and external partners, designed to identify nonprofit organizations where leaders have excelled in creating quality workplaces. The survey and awards program recognizes and honors the best employers in the nonprofit industry, benefitting the industry’s economy, workforce, and business.
“Being recognized as a Best Nonprofit to Work For, for the eighth time, is an extraordinary honor,” said Mark McDaniel, Cinnaire President and CEO. “This award program is driven by input directly from our staff and is a testament to their commitment to our mission. At Cinnaire, we celebrate our diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve, and we do business in a way that values people and relationships over transactions. Being named a Best Nonprofit reflects who we are as an organization, and I am proud of the work our team does every day to advance healthy communities.”
Nonprofits across the United States completed the two-part process to be considered for the Best Nonprofits to Work For award. The first phase consisted of evaluating each organization’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of a confidential employee survey to measure the employee experience. Board members, investors, and partners provided insight to Best Companies Group to assist in analyzing Cinnaire’s workplace environment.
Cinnaire provides above industry benefits, including unlimited personal time off, paid volunteer time, company cell phones, generous compensation packages, a profit-sharing plan, and a comprehensive benefits package. The Cinnaire Staff Engagement Committee provides an open forum for generating and discussing ideas, initiatives and insights that improve professional lives and company culture.
