Ed serves as Development Manager for Cinnaire Solutions in our Detroit office. He is charged with managing all aspects of development and community building initiatives designed to compliment our mission to advance healthy communities. Ed manages a development budget of over $40 million including projects financed using Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, AHP and additional funding sources. He takes great satisfaction in contributing to the components of a healthy community through the built environment and enjoys forming a relationship with Cinnaire partners to advance opportunities for people and communities.
Ed brings more than 25 years of experience in the affordable housing and community development industries to Cinnaire. He is the founder and past president for the Woodbridge Neighborhood Development Corporation (WND), a nonprofit community improvement organization that addresses the housing and development needs of the historic Woodbridge neighborhood in Detroit. Ed possesses a unique expertise in neighborhood scale development projects that contribute to increasing vibrancy and opportunity for communities.
Ed serves on the board of the Detroit Revitalization Fellowship Alumni Council, volunteers for the Detroit Fitness Foundation, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
