Trey Phillips is the SVP of Loan Management Services for the Cinnaire Lending Corporation and has been with Cinnaire since 2012. In this position, he oversees both the Portfolio Management and Loan Servicing teams which are responsible for the management and servicing of all closed loans. Cinnaire Lending’s portfolio is comprised of affordable housing and community facilities and spans much of the Midwest and the Mid-Atlantic. As a CDFI lender, Cinnaire offers financing to properties that support its overarching mission of providing opportunities to all people through healthy communities. Being part of the Cinnaire team focused on such a great mission, and specifically being part of the growing Cinnaire Lending platform, is the greatest part of his job.​
​Trey’s real estate background includes years in office, retail, industrial, and both market-rate and affordable multifamily properties, with a focus in management, ownership, and lending. He received his M.B.A. with a concentration in Real Estate Investment from DePaul University in Chicago. Prior to his career in real estate, Trey served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Infantry, deploying once to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He and his wife, Carolyn, have one son and live in Naperville, IL.
