Stephanie Socall is Senior Vice President, Loan Origination Services, assigned to Cinnaire’s Chicago, IL, office. She guides the strategic direction for the loan originations, loan underwriting and loan closing teams, providing direction for the lending business and ensuring Cinnaire maintains a responsible and sustainable balance of mission orientation and risk. ​
​Committed to addressing the injustices and inhumanities faced by housing insecure populations in the U.S., Stephanie has spent more than 15 years expanding safe, fair, affordable housing options for all. Prior to joining Cinnaire, she served as Senior Lender, Director of Lending, and Managing Director of Lending, Affordable Housing at IFF, where she grew the housing loan portfolio from $50 million to $150 million over her decade-long tenure. She expanded access to capital for emerging developers, achieving zero losses over nine years by implementing sound underwriting practices, diversifying the portfolio, and encouraging creative risk-taking. Before working at IFF, she was a Senior Development Officer for the Illinois Housing Development Authority and a Project Development Associate for Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago. She currently serves as a Commissioner for the Oak Park Housing Authority.​
​Stephanie earned a BA in Geography and Regional Studies from the University of Miami and a Master of Urban Planning with a concentration in Community and Economic Development from the University of Michigan.
