Ryan Robinson joined Cinnaire in 2011 as an asset manager. In 2017, Ryan was promoted to senior vice president of asset management and risk management. In addition to leading the asset management team, he is responsible for Cinnaire’s Enterprise Risk Management, which includes setting strategy to identify potential risks and managing those risks within the context of the organization’s objectives.
In 2015, Ryan’s role was expanded to lead the asset management team as vice president of asset management. In this role, he worked with asset management staff in six offices covering 12 states to manage Cinnaire’s portfolio of more than $3.7 billion. In 2013, Ryan was promoted to vice president of fund management and was responsible for managing more than 60 multi-investor funds, proprietary funds and guaranteed funds. In addition to the various positions he has held, Ryan has taken a lead role in the Cinnaire Managers Group, establishment of the staff engagement committee and various other initiatives.
Prior to joining Cinnaire, Ryan worked as the controller of a Lansing-based mutual insurance company, MCIM. He began his professional career at Plante Moran PLLC as an auditor, specializing in real estate and affordable housing.
In his free time, Ryan volunteers as a board member for the Lansing Housing Commission. He is also actively involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Children’s Trust Fund, Ele’s Place, Haven House, Mother Teresa House, Boys and Girls Club and Holy Cross Services. Ryan earned his B.A. and his M.S. from Michigan State University.
