Ryan Robinson is President, Cinnaire Syndication, in the Lansing, MI, office. He leads Cinnaire’s efforts financing affordable housing projects through low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) syndication. This role, created in 2024, required a strong understanding of tax credit syndication, investor relations, and fund management to cultivate growth and operational excellence in Cinnaire’s syndication business. Prior to this position, Ryan served as Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate Risk Management, guiding Cinnaire in the development of a clear focus on execution and accountability, driving organizational efficiency, proactively managing our risk profile, and overseeing Asset Management.
During his time at Cinnaire, Ryan has also served as Vice President of Fund Management and was responsible for managing more than 60 multi-investor funds, proprietary funds and guaranteed funds, and Vice President of Asset Management. In this role, he worked with asset management staff in six offices covering 12 states to manage Cinnaire’s portfolio of more than $3.7 billion. In addition to the various positions he has held, Ryan has taken a lead role in the Cinnaire Managers Group, establishment of the staff engagement committee and various other initiatives.
Prior to joining Cinnaire, Ryan worked as the controller of a Lansing-based mutual insurance company, MCIM. He began his professional career at Plante Moran PLLC as an auditor, specializing in real estate and affordable housing.
Ryan is on the Board of Junior Achievement of Mid-Michigan and actively involved in Boys and Girls Club, Ele’s Place, Mother Teresa House and Chosen Vision. Ryan earned his B.A. and his M.S. from Michigan State University.
