Katlynn Kretz is the Senior Vice President of Equity Underwriting where she is responsible for managing credit risk for Cinnaire’s strategic investment portfolio, including managing the evaluation, underwriting and closing functions. After joining Cinnaire in 2017, Katlynn served in several capacities, including Vice President, Equity Underwriting and former Manager, Equity Underwriting. Her leadership skills have been an integral part of advancing the work of the organization with her notable forward-thinking vision and partner-focused approach, embodying the core of Cinnaire’s culture. ​
​Katlynn has an extensive background in structuring and closing affordable real estate investments across Cinnaire’s multi-state footprint, with expertise in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), state housing tax credits, Historic Tax Credits (HTC), and energy credits. She is a firm advocate for racial equity, accessibility, and community engagement and enjoys speaking about her experience in tax credit underwriting, commercial and residential real estate, and community economic development.​
Katlynn graduated from Michigan State University with a dual degree in Political Science (specializing in World Politics) and Economics.
