Bloomington – Today, Cinnaire, LIFEDesigns Inc., The Shalom Community Center and other partners celebrate the grand opening of Crawford Apartments. Cinnaire (Cinnaire) provided $5.49 million of Housing Credit equity to build Crawford Apartments.

LIFEDesigns’ Crawford Apartments will provide twenty-five apartment homes for formerly homeless individuals in a permanent supportive-housing environment, coordinating the best possible housing resources and supportive services. The developer consultant is Milestone Ventures, experienced in securing funding and project management for permanent supportive housing and affordable housing.

“We applaud LIFEDesigns, Shalom, and all of our partners on this project for thinking innovatively and boldly in addressing chronic homelessness in Bloomington,” President and CEO of Cinnaire, Mark McDaniel, commented. “Permanent Supportive Housing is the key to transforming the lives of homeless people in the Hoosier state, and this transformation begins here at Crawford Apartments.”

“LIFEDesigns, our terrific partners, and the entire development team are thrilled to present Crawford Apartments to its residents and the Bloomington community,” CEO of LIFEDesigns, Inc, Susan Rinne said. “Investments in people, not just bricks and mortar, are what make communities thrive. Crawford Apartments’ investment in Bloomington will help this community continue to grow and prosper.
