Weeks Named Development Manager; Hodges Named Vice President, Business Funding
Cinnaire announced two key appointments in the organization’s MidAtlantic office this week. Azeez Weeks has joined the organization as Development Manager for Cinnaire Solutions, a newly created position to advance Cinnaire’s Wilmington Priority City initiatives. Matt Hodges has joined Cinnaire as Vice President, Business Funding, leading the development of equity funds in the MidAtlantic to support Cinnaire’s affordable housing and community redevelopment efforts.
As Development Manager, Azeez will support project management, assist in the development of the Cinnaire Solutions pipeline and provide leadership and guidance to partners in Wilmington. Azeez brings a unique set of analytical, problem-solving and technical skills to Cinnaire. He recently worked as Enterprise Mobility Manager at Genesis Healthcare. There, he was responsible for leading a team to determine, implement and manage the corporate strategy and policy for mobile devices. Prior to that position, he worked as a Genius Lead and Business Specialist at Apple, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Delaware.

As Vice President, Business Funding, Matt is charged with raising equity capital and managing investor relationships for Cinnaire’s MidAtlantic region. Matt has a strong institutional sales background, with experience in affordable housing, renewable and alternative energy, and new market and historic rehabilitation tax credit equity. Matt most recently worked as Vice President of Institutional Sales at Meridian Investments, a national leading in placing corporate investors into tax-advantaged investments. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the State University of New York College.
