Michelle Foster

Michelle Foster serves as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, responsible for raising equity capital and managing investor relationships for Cinnaire’s Proprietary Funds. 

Michelle originally joined Cinnaire in 2018, building extensive experience in affordable multifamily deal and fund structuring analyzing $2.3 billion in equity investments and managing the project pipeline, ensuring quality and integrity of investor information.

From 2023 to 2025, Michelle served as Executive Director of NASLEF where she focused on amplifying member impact through community development advocacy, identifying opportunities to strengthen member initiatives, and fostering collaboration across the industry. Prior to her work at Cinnaire, Foster engaged communities in a dynamic career as an urban planner, including crafting and implementing pioneering land use policy and streamlining entitlement processes.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saginaw State University and a Master of Urban Planning from Wayne State University. She currently serves as Chair of the City of Ferndale Planning Commission and serves on the board Community and Home Supports.
