Katlynn brings extensive experience to her role as Senior Vice President of Equity Underwriting, where she manages credit risk for Cinnaire’s strategic equity investment portfolio and leads the evaluation, underwriting, and closing functions. Since joining Cinnaire in 2017, Katlynn has advanced through several leadership positions—from Manager to Vice President and now Senior Vice President—reflecting her dedication to the organization and the broader affordable housing industry. Katlynn’s forward‑thinking vision and partner‑focused approach have played a key role in advancing Cinnaire’s mission, with her positive impact felt across the organization and beyond.
Katlynn has deep expertise in structuring and closing affordable real estate investments across Cinnaire’s multi‑state footprint, with specialized experience in Low‑Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), state housing tax credits, Historic Tax Credits (HTC), and energy credits. Committed to equity, accessibility, and community engagement, Katlynn is passionate about sharing her knowledge in tax credit underwriting, commercial and residential real estate, and community economic development.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Katlynn is actively engaged in strengthening her local community. She serves on the Michigan Housing Council Board of Directors, as Vice Chairperson of the Habitat for Humanity Capital Region Board of Directors and as the Policy and Advocacy Program Director for the National Women’s Affordable Housing Network. Through these leadership roles, she helps build stronger, more resilient communities.
Katlynn earned dual degrees in Political Science (specializing in World Politics) and Economics from Michigan State University.
