Joshua Ghena

Josh Ghena is President of Cinnaire Equity Partners, where he leads the firm’s affordable housing equity platform and oversees the syndication of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) nationwide. Since joining Cinnaire in 2014, Josh has played a central role in the growth and evolution of the equity business, helping to build a thoughtful, scalable, and focused platform.

Over the course of his tenure, Josh has held a progression of senior leadership roles across Cinnaire, including Senior Vice President, Equity Management; Vice President of Asset Management; Director of Special Assets; and Asset Manager. Through these roles, he has been deeply involved in shaping the firm’s approach to capital raising, portfolio oversight, and risk management, contributing to long-term stability and consistency across the equity portfolio.

As the equity business has grown, Josh has focused on strengthening organizational infrastructure and governance, refining processes, and developing tools that enhance portfolio analytics and decision-making. His leadership has supported the expansion of investor relationships and closer alignment between investment strategy, asset management, and stakeholder engagement. In his current role as President, Josh provides strategic direction for the equity platform while remaining closely engaged with investors, developers, and internal teams to ensure disciplined execution and mission alignment.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Josh serves as a board member of Junior Achievement, supporting the organization’s mission to prepare young people for success through financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship education.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin College and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning  from the University of Wisconsin.
