Cinnaire was honored to join our partners at Sojourners’ Place for the Light Up the Night Gala, an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating resilience, community, and opportunity. The event brought together supporters, advocates, and community leaders committed to restoring hope and dignity for individuals experiencing homelessness.

During the evening, we were especially proud to celebrate one of our own. Corinne Hyzny, Cinnaire’s Strategic Communications Senior Vice President, was named the recipient of the Window of Opportunity Award, which recognizes individuals whose dedication, generosity, and vision have made a lasting impact in the lives of Sojourners’ Place residents.

Corinne’s leadership reflects the very spirit of this honor. Through her hands-on involvement, she has advanced Sojourners’ Place mission in meaningful ways, from strengthening fundraising efforts and elevating communications to supporting events and day-to-day operations. Her work has helped open doors to build connections and create pathways to independence.

Morgan Ikonne, Executive Director of Sojourners’ Place, shared, “Corinne’s commitment to our mission is not only inspiring, it is transformative. Her leadership and generosity have opened doors of opportunity for so many of our residents. This recognition is incredibly well deserved, and we are deeply grateful to Corinne and the entire Cinnaire team for standing alongside us, not only in support of our mission, but on the ground, working with us every day to make a real difference in people’s lives.”

For more than 30 years, Sojourners’ Place has served as a cornerstone of support in the community, providing safe shelter alongside comprehensive, individualized services that empower men and women to rebuild their lives. Through case management, workforce development, and life-skills programming, the organization meets people where they are, helping each resident take meaningful steps toward stability and independence.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening came through a series of resident videos, which shared deeply personal stories of transformation. These firsthand testimonials illustrated the life-changing impact of Sojourners’ Place programming – individuals who arrived facing significant challenges and, through support and determination, have rebuilt their lives with renewed confidence and hope. The stories served as a moving reminder of the critical role Sojourners’ Place plays in helping people move forward.

At Cinnaire, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration, compassion, and sustained investment in people. Our partnership with Sojourners’ Place reflects that commitment, and we are proud to support an organization that is making a difference every day.
