Cinnaire will dedicate Hope Park on August 1st in honor of the company’s 25th Anniversary. Hope Park will feature The Butterfly Effect, the First Place and People’s Choice 2018 ScrapFest winner, as well as a park bench handcrafted by veterans from Zero Day, a Lansing based organization that provides job training, housing and support services for Veterans who have served our country. The lively event will feature performances by billboard charting artist Phil Denny and national recording artist Taylor Taylor. Hope Park has been designed to provide Reo Town residents and visitors with a vibrant neighborhood space for reflection and inspiration.
In 1993, Cinnaire founder and CEO Mark McDaniel launched the Michigan Capital Fund for Housing, a tax credit fund designed to support much needed affordable housing in Michigan, transform struggling neighborhoods and provide people with opportunities for empowerment. The success of the fund led the company to expand as the Great Lakes Capital Fund, serving communities throughout the Midwest. Now known as Cinnaire, the organization has a 9-state footprint including communities throughout the MidAtlantic and Midwest regions.
