Cinnaire Building Blocks President Christopher Laurent Helps Shape New Generation of Real Estate Leaders

Cinnaire Building Blocks President Christopher Laurent recently took part inĀ celebrating the 2016-2017 Associates in Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) graduating class. The ACRE programĀ is an industry-supported initiative that recruits and retains minorities for professional careers in the field of commercial real estate. The ACRE program was created by Professor Mark Eppli and the Marquette University College of Business in 2005 and is now administered through LISC Milwaukee in partnership with Marquette University, the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Key supporters include Cinnaire, the Mandel Group, the Opus Foundation, the Commercial Revitalization Ownership Project (CROP) and WaterStone Bank.

Christopher has volunteered as the lead instructor since the program’s inception. He praised each of the 20 graduates for their commitment to making time in busy personal and professional lives to successfully complete the program.

The 26-week program begins each September and ends in May. In addition to providing education in commercial real estate, the program also provides networking opportunities as another important part of the curriculum. Representatives from local government, education and the business community actively participate in networking activities.

Congratulations to theĀ 2016-2017 ACRE Graduates!
