Cinnaire has announced the promotion of Ryan Robinson to Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate Risk Management. Affordable housing industry veteran Mike Witt has joined Cinnaire as Vice President, Asset Management. In these leadership positions, Ryan and Mike will each play a key role in supporting Cinnaire’s strategic plan while building on the organization’s strong history in the affordable housing and community development industry.
Ryan Robinson Promoted to EVP, Operations & Corporate Risk Management
Cinnaire has announced Ryan Robinson has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate Risk Management. In this new role, Ryan will guide Cinnaire in the development of a clear focus on execution and accountability, drive organizational efficiency, proactively manage the organizations risk profile and continue to oversee Asset Management. Ryan brings more than 15 years of experience to the position.
Ryan joined Cinnaire in 2011, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Asset Management and Risk Management. In this role, he led Cinnaire’s asset management staff in six offices covering 12 states to manage the organizations portfolio of more than $4.7 billion. Ryan has taken a lead role in the Cinnaire Managers Group, establishment of the staff engagement committee, and various other company initiatives.
Ryan represents the National Association of State and Local Equity Funds (NASLEF) on the Consortium for Housing and Asset Management (CHAM) board. He volunteers as the board president for the Lansing Housing Commission and is actively involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Children’s Trust Fund, Ele’s Place, Haven House, Mother Teresa House, Boys and Girls Club, and Holy Cross Services. Ryan earned his B.A. and his M.S. from Michigan State University.
Mike Witt Joins Cinnaire as Vice President, Asset Management
Mike Witt has joined Cinnaire as Vice President, Asset Management, in the company’s Lansing office. In this position, Mike will be responsible for overseeing investments made by Cinnaire in numerous multifamily housing developments across multiple business lines.
Mike most recently served as Acting Chief of Housing Investment Officer at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). In this position, he was responsible for oversight of all multifamily rental programs and community development divisions. Prior to that position, Mike was Director of Asset Management at MSHDA. He has served as a member of the executive committee at MSHDA.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University. He serves as treasurer of his local homeowner’s association board.
