Cinnaire Appoints Director of Lending, Asset Management and Vice President, Equity Capital Raising

Trey Phillips has been appointed Director of Lending, Asset Management, in the company’s Chicago, IL, office. In this new position, Trey will be responsible for managing the oversight of Cinnaire’s lending portfolio. Trey will develop and implement strategy to mitigate against risk across Cinnaire’s multiple product lines, as well as multiple geographic areas. Trey will ensure that quality and efficiency remain top priorities within the Asset Management department and will maintain Cinnaire’s position as an industry leader in reporting.

Joseph Jones has joined Cinnaire in the company’s Wilmington, DE, office as Vice President, Equity Capital Raising. In this new position, Joseph will be responsible for raising capital, recruiting new investors, managing investor relationships and coordinating capital raising efforts with internal staff and external partners for Cinnaire’s housing tax credit equity funds.

Joseph holds a Bachelor Degree from Virginia Tech and a Master in Business Administration from Redford University. He most recently worked as Director of Equity Funds for the Virginia Community Development Corporation (VCDC), a Virginia based non-profit tax credit syndicator. In this role Joseph was responsible for managing all aspects of VCDC’s $600 million portfolio of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Federal and State Historic, New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) and Energy credit investment funds, as well as its CDFI affiliate, the Virginia Community Development Fund.
