Luan Nguyen joined Cinnaire’s Asset Management team in 2015 as an Assistant Asset Manager. Luan performed investor reporting on and managed the economic risks of a stabilized LIHTC portfolio totaling over $240 Million in assets. Luan was promoted in 2016 to Dispositions Relationship Manager and now takes the lead on all aspects of analyzing, negotiating and deal closures with our developer partners as LIHTC investors move towards a year-15 exit of their partnership interests. In addition to this position, Luan is involved with the Staff Engagement Committee and has led the Asset Management Project Team.
Luan has been a speaker on national stages at IPED, the Affordable Housing Association of Indiana, Building Michigan Communities Conference and the National Association of State and Local Equity Funds (NASLEF) Conferences. He also leads bi-annual Dispositions roundtables to facilitate conversations on the industry’s trends, issues and best practices. Luan is a NASLEF Emerging Leader, and was awarded the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 10 Over the Next Ten award, which recognizes Lansing’s best and brightest young professionals.
Prior to joining Cinnaire, Luan underwrote investment real estate as well as commercial and industrial loans at a Michigan-based bank.
In his free time, Luan volunteers for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Lansing Food Bank. He obtained his B.B.A. in Finance from Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business.
